Casa Cielo Azul

The work of Mexican architect Luis Barragán influenced this modernist styled compound in the hills above St. Helena. Grassi worked with Juancarlos Fernandez of Signum Architecture to create this dramatic hidden retreat. It features a 50 feet x 16 feet high cobalt blue exterior wall that merges with the sky. Indoor and outdoor living blends through the use of glass-paneled walls and pocketing doors to view the valley, woodlands, and mountains. The 3,500 square foot residence includes a 1,000 square foot covered terrace. An azure, infinity-edge pool continues the blue motif of the wall.
